The Belgian Association for Travel Management (BATM) respects the privacy of its members and visitors to its Web site. We take your privacy extremely seriously and use your personal data only for legitimate reasons.
This privacy policy aims to give you information on how BATM collects and processes your personal data.
Collection, processing and use of personal and non-personal information :
Most data BATM collects is used only to help better serve its members in line with BATM's goals and objectives. It is our general policy to collect and store only personal information that our members knowingly provide at the time of their registration into the BATM members database.
To be part of the BATM members community, to gain access to members-only resources and personalization features on the BATM's website or to register to one of our conference or event, members and other users are asked to register and provide some limited information. This information is submitted voluntarily. BATM collects names, organization name, business phone, and e-mail and basic information about the member category/organization type. BATM only uses this information to enhance its services to its members. This information is not sold or distributed in any other manner and/or used by BATM for any commercial purpose.
Information integrity, retention and access :
BATM will retain your personal information for the period necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the information you provide and for correcting and updating your information.
You have the right to review, adjust or delete your personal data, at any time. You can review or adjust your personal data by yourself from your “personal profile” settings from the BATM web site. To do so, first you need to login with your credentials to the BATM web site “member” area and then select the option “modify your profile”. If you want to delete your personal data or to limit or object to the way them being processed and used please contact us at info@batm.be.

Some of the pages of the BATM's website might use “cookies,” which are identifiers that a website places on your computer’s hard drive to facilitate the interaction between your computer and the website.
Information collected through cookies and other technologies may include your IP address, browsing activity (e.g., pages viewed), search engine referrals, and responses to advertisements and promotions on this site and websites where we advertise.
BATM does not collect any personal information from users browsing its Web site. Only aggregate data - such as the number of hits per page - are collected. Aggregate data are only used for internal use only and does not provide any personally identifying information.

Disclosures to Third Parties :
BATM makes member contact information available through the BATM online Membership Directory to registered BATM members only. Members' personal data may be made available at BATM conferences and events to the conference or event attendees through the attendees lists. In this case, the member's personal data that may be distribuited is limited to the member's name and the member's organisation name.
Any personal information you choose to provide in the BATM members database can be read, collected, or used by other registered members and could be used by them or their organisation, to send you communications, including offers for products or services. We are not responsible for the information you choose to submit. Your sharing of your personal information and other profile information with us and other members constitutes your agreement to such sharing.
Privacy Policy Changes :
If our Privacy Policy change, we will notify all registered members by e-mail or a special announcement placed on our web site.
Disputes :
In the event of a dispute, you may have the right to make a complaint with your local authorities. We would, however, appreciate the chance to deal with your concerns first because your privacy is important to us.
