Who can be nominated?

Corporate travel buyers or professionals managing travel within their companies are eligible for nomination as Travel Professional of the Year 2026.

Selection Process

The BATM Supplier Committee will shortlist candidates based on their contributions to travel-related initiatives that benefit the broader network. 

Key Evaluation Criteria

Nominees will be assessed on key industry priorities for 2026, as identified in leading travel surveys:

🔹 Cost Control – Strategies for optimizing travel spend

🔹 Digitalisation & AI – Leveraging technology for smarter travel management

🔹 Traveler Well-being – Enhancing safety, comfort, and work-life balance

How does it work?

✔ Top 5 professionals will be identified

✔ Approval from nominees will be secured

✔ Interviews with shortlisted candidates will be conducted and featured in the BATM newsletter, with support from the Travel Professional of the Year 2025

✔ Winner announcement at the final BATM event of 2026
